Angela is a Ph.D student in the Allen lab at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography studying the evolution and ecology of polar microorganisms. Her current work is focused on using molecular phylogenetics and omics tools to determine the evolutionary history and adaptive strategies of Dry Valley meltwater stream communities.
